Data Deletion

How to request account or app-data deletion.

What to include in your email

  • Registered email address.
  • Request type: account deletion or data deletion.
  • Any relevant app account details.
  • Do not send social-media archive ZIPs by email.

Expected handling

We may need to verify that the request comes from the registered account holder. Deletion timing may depend on account status, operational needs, and legal or billing obligations.

What deletion may include

  • Firebase user profile or equivalent authentication account data.
  • App metadata such as preferences, feature access state, and usage records.
  • Subscription access metadata maintained for entitlement control where applicable.
Imported social-media archive content is used inside the app experience and is not sold by SoTree. This deletion page is mainly about account, access, and service metadata tied to your use of the app.

Important billing note

Deleting a SoTree account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Users should cancel subscriptions through Google Play, Apple App Store, or the store where the subscription was purchased.

What may remain elsewhere

Some billing or transaction records may remain with Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, or other payment processors according to their own policies.

Deletion requests do not guarantee removal of records held independently by third-party billing providers.
